Pickup through AutoHalal
Pickups are hard to buy in Europe and are the single best-selling vehicle in the United States. Inventory is correspondingly deep, and the trucks are cut differently: crew cabs, towing capacities and engines that European model lines simply do not offer. For trades and agriculture, importing is often the only route to a vehicle that actually carries the work.
The financing comes from a partner, not from us: AutoHalal is the marketplace, and the financing partner buys the vehicle and resells it to you with the margin disclosed. That margin is set once and never recalculated — there is no variable component that can move your instalment later.
Importing a Pickup from the US — what matters
With a pickup, registration decides the cost. Depending on weight and body, it is classed in Germany as a truck or as a car, and tax, insurance and speed limits follow from that. The classification is settled before you sign. Second point: length and turning circle. A US crew-cab pickup is over 5.80 metres and will not fit many underground car parks — not a fault, but something to settle beforehand.
Customs, transport and registration
Importing from the United States means import duty and import VAT, plus sea freight and registration under German law. We cover 50% of the customs costs and 100% of the transport, including to France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. Whatever remains is set out in full in the offer before you sign — there is no line item that appears only at handover. Converting the car to European requirements, lighting and odometer among them, is part of the process and not your problem.
